Hagan International Scholarship Application

Fall applicants cannot reapply.

Then, click “Submit” to access the Application.
The Submittal Deadline is March 15, 2025.
Applications will be processed and scholarships awarded in April, 2025.

2. Tips on How to Prepare a Successful Application 

Eligibility Requirements

1. Must be a first-time graduate student enrolling in the Fall 25 semester. Not for current graduate students.
2. Must not hold U.S. citizenship.
3. Must not be over 24 years of age as of the Submittal Deadline March 15, 2025.
4. Must have been awarded or will be awarded by the upcoming Fall 25 semester an undergraduate degree from a foreign institution.
5. Must provide a complete copy of applicant’s Transcript showing the Award Degree.
6. Must have received an acceptance letter for enrollment for the upcoming Fall 25 semester from a college or university located in the U.S.
7. Must be fluent in the English language and must provide a copy of the applicant’s English proficiency test results, or confirmation from the institution of English proficiency.
8. Must provide a Graduation Plan prepared by the institution and approved by the Department Chair.
9. Must contribute toward the cost of applicant’s education by working 240 hours from January 1 to September 1, before the start of the fall semester each academic year. Employment and/or paid internships must be performed under supervision for compensation. Work can be full-time or part-time.
10. Must provide a copy of the parents’ Financial Statement.

Value of the Hagan International Scholarship

1. $2,000 to purchase essential items for college.
2. Up to $7,500 each semester for up to four consecutive semesters or $30,000.
3. Free workshop to learn essential life skills not typically covered in the college curriculum.

The intended recipient is a high-achieving goal-driven student having substantial financial need.

Decisions made by HSF are final and not subject to appeal. Terms and Conditions are subject to change without notice.
