Scholarships from the Sirindhorn Technology Scholarship Fund are available for excellent students from reputable universities of any foreign country to study in a master’s or doctoral degree program at Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology (SIIT), Thammasat University, Thailand.
The following fields are eligible:
- Biochemical Engineering/ Biochemistry
- Environmental Engineering/ Science/ Technology/ Management
- Chemical Engineering/ Chemistry
- Industrial Engineering and Logistics Systems
- Civil Engineering * Digital Engineering
- Computer Engineering/ Science
- Logistics and Supply Chain Systems Engineering
- Electrical Engineering * Management Technology
- Energy Technology/ Management
- Materials Engineering/ Science/ Technology
- Engineering Management
- Mechanical Engineering
- Artificial Intelligence and the Internet of Things
Who can Apply
Also, the eligibility requirements include:
For Type A and B scholarships:
- Must not be of Thai nationality
- Has an excellent academic record (preferably ranked within the top 20 percent of the class)
- Meet qualifications of SIIT graduate program admissions
- Provides two strong recommendation letters (at least one recommendation letter must come
- from an academic instructor/advisor)
- Provide your referees’ official/professional email addresses (email addresses given by their institute/company/university) in the referees’ information section of the online application form. Personal email addresses are not allowed.
- Has good health and good conduct
- Must not be a recipient of another type of scholarship
For faculty Quota:
- Can be a Thai or a non-Thai applicant
- Has an excellent academic record
- For Master scholarships: must have a GPA of at least 2.75 or 2.50 with at least one international journal publication.
- For Ph.D. scholarships: One must have a GPA of at least 3.50 or 3.00 with at least one international journal publication.
- Meets all qualifications of SIIT graduate program admissions
- Provides two strong recommendation letters (at least one recommendation letter must come from an academic instructor/advisor)
- Provide your referees’ official/professional email addresses (email addresses given by their institute/company/university) in the referees’ information section of the online application form. Personal email addresses are not allowed.
- Has good health and good conduct
