SIIT Graduate Scholarship in Thailand for International Students

Scholarships from the Sirindhorn Technology Scholarship Fund are available for excellent students from reputable universities of any foreign country to study in a master’s or doctoral degree program at Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology (SIIT), Thammasat University, Thailand.

The following fields are eligible:

• Biochemical Engineering/ Biochemistry
• Environmental Engineering/ Science/ Technology/ Management
• Chemical Engineering/ Chemistry
• Industrial Engineering and Logistics Systems
• Civil Engineering * Digital Engineering
• Computer Engineering/ Science
• Logistics and Supply Chain Systems Engineering
• Electrical Engineering * Management Technology
• Energy Technology/ Management
• Materials Engineering/ Science/ Technology
• Engineering Management
• Mechanical Engineering
• Artificial Intelligence and the Internet of Things

Who can Apply

Also, the eligibility requirements include:

For Type A and B scholarships: 

• Must not be of Thai nationality
• Has an excellent academic record (preferably ranked within the top 20 percent of the class)
• Meet qualifications of SIIT graduate program admissions
• Provides two strong recommendation letters (at least one recommendation letter must come
• from an academic instructor/advisor)
• Provide your referees’ official/professional email addresses (email addresses given by their institute/company/university) in the referees’ information section of the online application form. Personal email addresses are not allowed.
• Has good health and good conduct
• Must not be a recipient of another type of scholarship

For faculty Quota:

• Can be a Thai or a non-Thai applicant
• Has an excellent academic record

•  For Master scholarships: must have a GPA of at least 2.75 or 2.50 with at least one international journal publication.
• For Ph.D. scholarships: One must have a GPA of at least 3.50 or 3.00 with at least one international journal publication.

• Meets all qualifications of SIIT graduate program admissions
• Provides two strong recommendation letters (at least one recommendation letter must come from an academic instructor/advisor)
